Among its many medieval buildings, the town of Tavira has twenty-one churches or chapels. In fact it has more churches and chapels than any other town in the Algarve. This strange fact is one which Peter will address on his guided walk around Tavira. The walk will begin at the Roman Bridge, and the walk will take 90 minutes. This walk is the first in a series, and because of the difficulty in guiding large groups, the numbers will be kept to fifteen at an absolute maximum. If there is enough interest, the same guided walk will be held a second time. Places will be allocated on a firstcome basis.
