I am delighted to announce that the Dutch Quartet of Inge Lulofs, Brigitta Klein Goldewijk, Irene Ainstein and Frank Fahner will be performing here in the Algarve on Sunday 20 March at 17h00 (please note the change to Summer time).

The pianists will be playing in various combinations using 1 or 2 grand pianos and they will be playing music by Mozart, Boccherini, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky. Inge Lulofs works with the Netherlands Symphony Orchestra where she plays piano and celesta and she is the accompanist for all auditions. Brigitta Klein Goldewijk is a renowned soloist in the Netherlands, Germany and the UK. English born Irene Ainstein won first prize in a Competition for Young Musicians after only one year of piano study. She later participated in the Contest Mozart and has performed in the Netherlands, Germany, England and China. Frank Fahner is a well-known accompanist and teacher who has invented computer programs and computer games to help students of music theory.

The annual 2 piano and 40 fingers concert has become a musical highlight known for being exciting, fun and technically brilliant.
